Mother's Day Photo Shoot

We took these photos about a week before Mother's Day so that we could make cards for the Grandmas! We had lots of fun and Daddy just kept snapping pics all around the house! Here Momma is giving out fish kisses, Abigail' favorite!

Up against the house in the backyard...Abigail was more interested in wanting to get down to dig into the potted plant and feel the dirt!!

This is one of my favorites...she's our little sweety!

My Second Mother's Day
Momma Wolf's second Mother's Day was great. It started with breakfast in bed including blackberry pancakes that ended up on Abigail's dress and the bed sheets, but we managed to get Oxyclean on there and make things all better. I didn't mind getting stains on clothes and such...it was just the sweetest gift to be surrounded by my little family eating yummy warm pancakes tucked under the covers. Could it get any better than this?! She is my every dream come true and the greatest GIFT I've been blessed with in my life. I thank God on this day for my sweet miracle and for blessing me with the special gift of being a mommy.

ONE YEAR LATER

Look how things changed in just one year...

This Cinco De Mayo, as a 14 month old, she got to hang out with her newest BFF, Karleigh, at Uncle Julio's for a nice dinner and 'happy hour' fun! They were decked out in there authentic outfits (Abigail wearing the one from last year that Tia Sally got her in Mexico and mommy just took the elastic off the waist to turn it into a blouse from a dress she wore it as last year)!!

Oh How Saturday Mornings Have Changed...

BUNNY> Oh, it's great to go for a random hop early in the morning while people are still sleeping!

ABIGAIL> LET'S GO OUTSIDE - There's a bunny in our backyard. Who cares if it's 7am!

BUNNY> What the? There's an overly eager toddler headed my way. EEK...I'm outta here.

DIVA DRY RUN...

Used to be we could wake up at whatever time we wanted and then do absolutely nothing on Saturday mornings and that it was all good. Well now, we seem to have a pretty active timeline from say 6:30am and on filled with unexpected FUN! Today, we were awoken with a special greeting from a bunny...not the Easter bunny - that was a few weeks back, this was just some random bunny who found temporary refuge in our backyard. Luckily it wasn't a swine!

Abigail really wanted to grab that bunny and give it a big squeeze like she does all of her other stuffed bunnies. Oh, we tried to catch it, but the bunny outsmarted us; lucky for him! We came in and had breakfast and Abigail had cheerios with milk in a bowl like a big girl! She loved it! She used her special new bowl that her neighbor BFF, Ambar, gave her! Way cool! When momma decided to drink the remaining milk from her cereal bowl, Abigail decided to do the same with hers and we got some GREAT milk moustaches!!

Then, Abigail got to play with mommy's old jewelry while mommy cleaned out some old storage containers and so that was just loads of fun! She wanted to put on all the jewelry by herself with no help from anyone. We thought she looked just stunning; especially decked out in her fuzzy purple slippers!

We made a trip to Lowes and found flowers for 50% off. Abigail got to ride in her favorite front facing RACE CAR shopping cart so she had all the flowers in front of her in the cart and tried to pick off the leaves and petals. She was pooped when we got home so she went straight for a nap! Ah, Saturday mornings couldn't get any better than this! Even if you threw in a mimosa! Ha! That's our wolf howl - Ow, ow, ooowww!
